Christmas Pageant Breakfast - 07 Assembly Food and alcohol servers need to take the state certified training once every three years. For preparing and serving food you will need the Food Handlers Permit and for serving alcohol the Utah On-Premise Alcohol Permit (not the Easy/Off-Premise one). The courses are on the web from different sites.

There is also a Food Safety Manager (Kitchen Manager) certificate. It takes about 8 hours. There is a 75 question exam. The certificate is good for five years.

knights of columbus 1129 officersYou will need to take two web courses, one from the Salt Lake City Diocese and one from Knights of Columbus Supreme. All officers are required by supreme to take both of these courses.

Diocese
  • Take the CMG Connect: “Safe Haven-It’s Up to You”
  • Start here: https://saltlakecity.cmgconnect.org
  • Signup for a CMG Connect. You don’t need an email address. Save your user name and password in your password vault.
  • It will ask for information such as address and phone number. For security and privacy, it’s best to give them random ones until the end.
  • Warning: It does ask for sensitive information to do a background check at the end.
  • It is good for 3 years
